For a long time, in many educational history books there was not any proper place given to Kant's pedagogy, whose outstanding achievements and further influences was not only neglected, but also misunderstood, which obviously was not resonable. As the important educational concept that can not bypass in the Western Pedagogy history, Kant's educational theory and practice contained many of concepts, which contemporary has a profound significance. In the theory aspects:it reached from the Foundation of Education, Teaching theory, Home Education, to the Primary Education, the Secondary Education, the Higher Education, to the Moral Education and the view of Educational history, etc; In the practical aspects, Kant gave us the clear explanation of the Relationship between Theory and Practice, the Division of Rational Practice, the Methodology and the Practical Education, all of which are of great importance, and through Kant's lifetime's practice of educational process, there were home education practice, teaching, school affairs included, and he also gave lectures of pegagogy in university, all of which let us see the far-reaching meaning of his educational theory and practice. In this thesis, Comparison and Hermeneutik were combined with the context of Kant's pedagogy, focusing on Kant's problem of "what is human", we concentrated on exploring the theory and practice and its contemporary significance:Students are a priority, but teacher is also an important factor. For teacher training, Kant had his own views, which not only represented the advanced educational concept at that time, but also affected Johann Helnrich Pestalozzi, Johann Friedrich Herbart, etc, affected the development of western educational theory and practice, Kant was given the honor as the " the Ancestor of Pedagogy".In Kant's theoretical system, understanding, rationality and the Enlightenment concept of history, all of which themselves were combined together. In a further clarity on this, we can see that this has the vast horizon for human welfare concern, and the Enlightenment itself as the self-education of human, as Kant said, we do not live in an enlightened age, but we do live in an age of enlightenment.
