There is no significant between mental illness and nonmental illness in demographic variables (P>0.05); mental illness group with previous history of suicide attempt rate (73.0%) was significantly higher than those without mental disease group (0.00%), P<0.001; and impulsive suicide (Time to consider suicide <2h) proportion (35.1%) was significantly less than the no mental illness group (60.0%), P = 0.001.Conclusion Age, objective support, action, mental illness and suicide attempts is closely related to suicide attempted, it should be based on the characteristics of attempted suicide to develop appropriate integrated prevention and control intervention strategies , and to reduce and control the incidence of suicide.
