The Main Characteristics And Practice Of The Performance Of The Art Songs Adopted From Classical Chinese Poems

Art songs adopted from classical Chinese poems are peculiar in Chinese vocal works, and could reflect the essence of the traditional Chinese civilization. With the reunderstanding of the classical culture, Chinese people esteem the classical Chinese poems. It is easily to notice that classical Chinese poems are composed with the melodies. It is of necessary tendency that vocal works adopted from classical Chinese poems should be treated differently and be explored, since the special characteristics of the art songs from the classical Chinese poems. Based on the promotion and development of the art songs adopted from classical Chinese poems, this thesis, through the analysis of the characteristics of the classical Chinese poems and the art songs and of influence of Chinese civilization and the connection and differentiation between art songs and other art forms, firstly, elaborates the artistic characteristics of the vocal performance of the art songs; secondly, based on the dual-perspective of the audience and the performer of the art songs, analyzes the significant characteristics of delivering the art songs, in order to better the performance of the art songs and provide new thoughts in the performance of the art songs.
