| In Wei and Jin dynasties, a large number of children genius appeared. They were concerned and loved so much that their stories were collected in a book by scholars of the time. For instance, the collection about children genius was set up as a special subject in the book New Anecdotes of the time, in which most of the children genius belong to Wei and Jin dynasties. Except the large number and varied images, some bright characters of the time can be found in them. There are so many types of children genius in Wei and Jin dynasties that no dynasty can match. Some types are not unique to the children of Wei and Jin dynasties, but are most obvious. Most children genius of Wei and Jin were born in rich and powerful'families, which was linked to good noble family education and sluggish official education. The noble families paid much attention to their children's education especially the elementary education in order to maintain their gained high status and interest. And in that time, women were not discriminated on the point of education, so they could have a seat in this area. In Wei and Jin dynasties, being lost the sanctity and authority, Confucianism's domination status was broken. There emerged a many kinds of new academic ideas, in which the metaphysical was most popular. In the atmosphere of the metaphysical, children, inevitably influenced, played directly or indirectly an interesting roles in the history of Wei and Jin dynasties. Also the reason why Wei and Jin produced so much children genius is people's admiration for the wisdom. This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of the children genius in Wei and Jin dynasties and the relation between children genius fashion and Metaphysics.
