Changkang dialect of Hunan Xiangyin is a spot of Xiang dialect. This article takes the adverbs of Changkang dialect as the main research object, inspected the normal adverbs and compared them with mandarin adverbs from three aspects of syntax, meaning and usage. So that can show the grammar character of the dialect of Xiangyin and provide a live and new material for the other dialect researchers. To make it easier to analyze and compare with the mandarin adverbs the comparison objects of this article are divided into six types:range adverbs, degree adverbs, time adverbs, deny adverbs, mood adverbs and modal adverbs based on the inspection and fact of Changkang dialect.This article is divided into eight parts:Introduction:Briefly introduced the history, dialect and geographical location of Changkang, Xiangyin. Then explained the referenced article of Changkang dialect and the meaning of this article. It also briefly introduced the research method and steps of this article and listed the crambo and tune of Changkang dialect with form. The inspected people were introduced at the end of this part.The comparison of range adverbs:Fifteen normal range adverbs of Changkang dialect were introduced in this part and the responding mandarin range adverbs were listed. This part mainly chose the most frequent two range adverbs:"xia[XA21]" with the meaning of generalization, "jing[t(?)in21]" with the meaning of generalization and unique character. These two adverbs were analyzed deeply.'The comparison of degree adverbs:This part introduced nineteen normal degree adverbs and also listed the responding mandarin degree adverbs. Three group of degree adverbs of Changkang dialect were chose and analyzed in detail such as "si[s(?)42]", "man[man13]", "ji[t(?)i42]", "ji duo[t(?)i42 to]", "chang ba[tsa(?)13pA55]", "yue wai[ye55uai21]", "ling wai[lin21uai21]". "si[s(?)42]" and "man[man13]" were deeply analyzed and compared with the responding mandarin "si" and "man".The comparison of time adverbs:Forty-two time adverbs of Changkang dialect were divided into time spot adverbs, time period adverbs and frequent adverbs. Three groups of frequent adverbs such as "jin[t(?)in42], jin de[t(?)in42tie21]", "heng zhi[x(?)n13ts(?)55]" and "chang qi[tsa(?)13t(?)i], da chang[tA42tsa(?)], gen shi[kie42s(?)21], yao you[iau55i(?)u21], zhi kan jian[ts(?)55kant(?)ie]" were discussed in meaning character, syntax distribution and usage function.The comparison of deny adverbs:Four deny adverbs of Changkang dialect were analyzed and compared with the responding mandarin deny adverbs in this part. The special usage of "mao[mau21]" and "mo[mo55]" were also discussed in this part.The comparison of mood adverbs:This part introduced thirty-two mood adverbs of Changkang dialect and analyzed two adverbs such as "lian[lie13]" and "ying[(?)an21]" which existed in Changkang dialect instead in mandarin. The same and different spot between special format "lian[lie13]+V(O)/A bu C" in Changkang dialect and "yi ding, pian,di que" in mandarin were specially discussed.The comparison of modal adverb:The literary modal adverbs in mandarin such as "da si", "si yi", "meng ran", "gong ran", "da li", "wen bu" do not exist in Changkang dialect. This part mainly listed ten colloquial modal adverbs in Changkang dialect and three special were discussed such as "xing ji[(?)in55t(?)i55]", "liu shui[li(?)u13(?)y21]" and "lu li lu xu[l(?)u55li l(?)u55s(?)u55]".Conclusion:This part summed up the discussion above and got the conclusion. Expectation and shortage were pointed out in the end.
