Her six novels that from title and name to plot, character, and environment are very similar.A very clear sense of model is ready to come out, so the structuralism, which pays attention on the relationship between various factors of the inner system of a literary text, is suitable to analyze. The theories in this paper are as follows:the binary opposition of the structuralism criticism, functionalist school, action model, code analysis of the semiotic theory and so on, Therefore, we can view the six works of Austin as a system with connected structure, to find her narrative model:The shallow structure of the text:the law created by characters, plot, and environment; This will help us to understand the literary "signs" that makes literary texts different from the non-literary texts, and Austin's unique style.The thesis is divided into four parts, by use of the structuralism's binary opposition, functionalist school, action model, and the semiotic theory to interpret Austen's six works.
