Influence Of Regional Culture To Present Ceramics Creation

This thesis is based on the regional folk culture as the breakthrough point, and at the first part it mainly analyzes regional folk culture and the related aesthetic elements. The preliminary analysis leads in a conclusion that true art is closely contracted with certain life and culture people have at certain time. The second part discusses and analyzes emphatically about general development and cultural sequence of Gansu pottery. In this part it focuses on discussion and analysis about aesthetic elements of pottery in Majiayao culture. Through analysis and reference of ancient pottery people absorb new development ideas and aesthetic elements of artistic creation from ancient pottery designs. At the third part it attempts to reveal an objective development situation of modern pottery through revealing international development pattern of modern pottery and creative styles of different countries and areas. At the last part it mainly discuses some relative problems during creation of modern pottery. With the writer's creative experience and examples, combined with the analysis of regional folk culture and Gansu folk culture based on Majiayao culture from the former parts, it attempts to summarize a way that combines culture, self-cultivation and true expression during artistic creation, with using which to guide the writer's following creation and turn the writer's theory into a sort of real situation and works of artistic creation by practice.The purpose of this thesis is to find a possible way of ceramics creation by comparative study in ancient pottery and aesthetic elements of modern pottery and by examples. This creative way corresponds with the writer's cultural stature and capability. During different creative ideas, it can lead and work throughout the writer's following artistic creation and help the writer make accurate understanding and general location through cultural interpretation and discovery of root.
