In moderm society, great revolution happens in various fields with increasingly faster tempo and shorter cycle. This brings up higher and newer requirements to the public educations. In other words, reform and innovation have to be introduced in moderm education based on current education quality and mode, so that the schools could not only develop themselves well but also foster instantly serviceable talents for the society. Modem education pays much attention to the cultivation of students' individuality, independent personality and creative ability. Incorrespondence with this theory, some more flexible, dynamic and individualized teaching methods are adopted. Active exploration, together with adventurous trial, has been carried out numerous educators. and they have accumulated rather effective teaching method and estimable experience.As one of the educators that devote oneself to English educational teaching for many years, I personally closely care about the development and reform of English teaching. At present, new round of English curricula reform has been started in full-scale. This new round reform, in compliance with the requirement of English teaching development, is carried out based on existing achievements, with the purpose of earnestly promoting English educational teaching level in the way of reforming the aim, concept, content, method, application etc. Hence, traditional English teaching modes like "spoon-feeding", "reception", "exam-aimed" and "monomial teaching" couldn't adapt to modern education any more. Educators should stimulate students'intereste of learning by activating the class atmosphere.In current English teaching, teachers need flexible operation due to the specific Teaching regulation. Some teachers don't fully understand the requirement of new curricula reform, follow the old teaching mod-e blindly which leads to the conservatism mistake; Some others implement the new reform requirement strictly item by item regardless of students' present situation, which leadsto the doctrinairism mistake; There are still some others arbitrarily eliminate teaching content, neither follow traditional method nor the requirement of new curricula standard. They pay too much attention to attract students' eyeballs bynew methods and multimedia means withoutconsidering the teaching aim, which leads to formalism mistake. The misunderstanding of new curricula reform showed by these english teachers result in serious consequences. Students haven't acquired any knowledge during the English learning, and instead, lost their precious personality. Students, receiving such absurd educational teaching will have serious problem since this kind of teaching isagainst with the requirement of new english curricula standard.English, as a language, is mainly used as a way of communication. This article aims at putting what students have learned into practice, emphasizes on discovering and analyzing existing problems of English educational teaching work in Xi'an No.78 Middle School, then proposes proper solution and teaching measures. This could effectively help and push ahead the teaching work in future at the same time.This article, taking Xi'an No.78 Middle School where the author teaches class as its study object, integrated with author's practical experiences obtained in the study of "Individualized English Teaching" at school, comes up with a proposal which calls for vive English class atmosphere and implementation of individualized English teaching. Problems and their reasons existing in English teaching of Xi'an No.78 Middle School are discussed and analyzed in this article. The main problems are revealed in class teaching, class conducting and work after class. The reasons focus on the impacts from exam-aimed educational teaching, teachers themselves, teaching environment etc. Class teaching, as the most fundamental unit in conducting the education for all-round development, is a kind of organized leading bilateral activity combined with teaching and learning among teachers and students. This article makes a research on the topic how to carry through individualized education and vivify students in English class under the requirement of English curricula reform in three aspects like teaching management, class teaching and class conducting. Specific strategies regarding how to implement individualized education in English teaching are offered.These strategies include scientification of teaching management, individualization of class teaching and artistry of class conducting.
