The Time issue in Western literature in the 20th century played an important role, along with the names of those unforgettable literary history, into our field of vision. In search of Lost Time is milestone work for the French novelist Marcel Proust, the great modern masterpiece. Its appearance marked the end of traditional French novel, and the rise of the modern novel. Time is the theme of the novel, this article focus on the timeliness in the book In search of Lost Time, from the time and memory, time and truth, the three aspects of time and materials to research and explore Proust's time arts.Proust separates the physical time and psychological time as follow: the physical time is always one-way direction, uniform flow, under which life declines to death, causing a sense of the tragedy among human life; but in the psychological time, people can get rid of the time inevitability with the memories, merging the past, present and future, to the aesthetic realm of freedom and life, showing the true heart of the subjective.Time view shift brings in total different perspective to watch the world. This stretch of time through the use of Bergson and Heidegger's concept of time that the theory of the time and the real effective link, Proust, reveals the true rolling in, the whole experience of real life, using art to show the real.In search of Lost Time was the collapse of the rational order, timeliness is broken up, and there is no causal relationship between the materials, life is full of chance and the endless possibilities which the world presents a labyrinth of nature. Proust's novel, thinking of time through the modern philosophy, explaining on the novel's timeliness theoretical level, is successful novel sample to study the time of novel, and it is the pioneer for modern fiction.
