Research On The Grotesque Writing Of Chinese Contemporary Novels

There exists a special topic which is called grotesque in Chinese contemporary novels especially in the 80s and 90s′and later novels . This includes two different kinds of contents and one refers to the depiction of image of grotesque while the other means the narration of climate of grotesque. Undoubtedly, it is an important topic though it has not drawn broad attraction. Most excellent novels writers such as Mo Yan,Su Tong,Yu Hua,Ge Fei,Can Xue and Jia Pingwa have been revolved in this field .Carefully studying this writing of grotesque, can help us study the Chinese contemporary novels in a special perspective, and through this process many problems will be solved, such as the reason why Chinese contemporary literature occurred and the tendency it will be in the future.Started with the close reading of the grotesque writing of Chinese contemporary novels, then in this thesis much attraction was drawn on the thinking of its genetic principle under the temporary circumstance, and illustration was made on its narrative significance. From all of this study, we can know the tendency and fate of Chinese contemporary in macro visuals. According to this above, this thesis was divided into four parts: in the first part classification was done about the image of grotesque and in the second part analysis was made on the climate of grotesque, then in the third part study on the narrative significance of grotesque writing was done and finally in the four part daring and proper prediction was done about the tendency and fate of Chinese contemporary novels. Many efforts were done, from the point to the face, from one layer to another, to get to the core from a small aspect of analysis and research effectively.
