Survey And Systematic Construction Of Minors Mental Health Services

The implementation of minors mental health education and instruction is of far-reaching significance to both individuals and the whole nation. The research aims to know the current situation of the minors mental health service providers in China. By tapping the advanced experiences of the present institutions combined with China's traditional culture and social status, the study analyses and proposes a maintenance system for minors mental health suitable for china.This is a comprehensive study of representative institutions of minors mental health for the first time in China. Depth analysis of the organizational development process, showing a clear mode of Agencies. Perspective in the study also has some ground-breaking.The research adopts a questionaire developed by the researcher to investigate schools, hospitals, government branches, and social institutions across eleven provinces. The researcher also carries out deepth interview into three relatively perfect professional minors mental health service organizations(Guide Center for the Healthy Growth of Minors in Suzhou, Primary and Middle Schools Mental Health Services Center in Nanjing, Shijiazhuang Minors Mental Health Maintenance Center) and has collected firsthand information. By comparatively analysing all the data and materials, the paper presents the status quo of the juvenile mental health services within China, and puts forward suggestions for constrcting developing mode of minors mental health service.The questionaire mainaly focuses on issues such as organization structuring and services, improvement of the ranks of servants in the field of mental health service, management and assessing, and government support. Meanwhile, the study surveys the sources of the instructors on mental health, education of mental health and its management, curriculum designing, and teachers'confusions in work experiences and the data are comprehensively analysed. The deepth interview aims at the managers and staffs respectively. For the former, the topics maily include organization development, services, the building of a contingent of professional workers,characters of the agency, feelings and confusions. While the topics for the latter are the nature of the work, service process, training and development, work perplexities and suggestions. The researcher carries out the analysis from perspectives of organization establishment, sources of the fund, servies and achievements.Finally, the paper summarises the current situation of minors mental health service within China from aspects of government support, education in school, and social resources. Suggestions are proposed for the constructing of the minors mental health service system from perspectives of the government, research agencies, schools, professional institutions and social rescources.
