Research On Poet QI Junzao In Daoguang And Xianfeng In Qing Dynasty

Qi Juanzao was a very important official of the Han nationality, having renown and influence for a time in Daoguang and Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, and was aiso a representative of Song Poetry School that time. He was a dignified and upright person with high prestige, and his poems reflected the social reality, which was different from the traditional poetic doctrine of Being Gentle and Kind. However, due to various reasons, the modern academic circles paid little attention to Qi Juanzao in a long time. Although in the pace with the compiling of his works, the research on him has made some progress recently, those job was not thorough enough comparing with another high official Zeng Guofan, hence need our more analysis and study. This paper ,basing on the research on his family trait,life-time,poetic theory and poetry writing, will define his historic position from a new angle.This article has five parts: the first part mainly introduces his works and recent research level on him; the second part presents his family background,experience,thoughts; the third part is his poetry theory research, discussing the origin and characteristic of his poetry theory ; the fourth part is his poetry-writing study, researching on artistic feature of his poems; and the last part discusses his influence over the later ages.
