Experimental Research On The Effect Of Music Appreciation On The University Students' Emotion

The first part analyzed music is the composer's language which expresses his mind and emotions.As music is sentimental and emotional,it constitutes an important part of human feelings and exerts a vital impact on the emotional development of college students.It has attracted great attention of the education field to promote the comprehensive development of college students by appreciating music.What is the effect of classic music on university students'feeling? To be specific,how do the key elements of classic music affect university students? This is a significant problem worthy of study.The second part through the music appreciation of contemporary university students for the emotional effect that attempt to explore happy and sad music for the non-music majors .In two experiments, and compares to the music on the role of emotional changes, this study for the promotion of physical and mental health of university students, has a special value.The third part discussed the results of the two experiments , then came to conclusion as follows:1.Different music can result in different feelings and a certain feeling can be caused by different music.At the same time,different subjects may have different feeling to the same music.2.Slow music easily leads to such feelings as sadness,sorrow,agony,restlessness and resentment,where as fast music reminds students of positive feelings like joy, excitement and so on.3.The fast triple time music tend to bring out more positive feelings while the slow duple time music tend to induce more negative feelings.
