The Mentality And Teaching Study About The Music Preferring Of Being Not A Music Special Field College Student.

The non-music specialized university students mostly have not received professional or systematic training in music, therefore their music appreciation activities mainly stem from inborn fondness and individual favoritism . They are closely related with nature and directly influenced by the social environments. Therefore the psychological research on the university students'music favoritism can make us realize how the environments have influenced human.In this thesis I have tried to psychologically analyze the differences between university students on music favoritism in three aspects: specialty, age and sex .Through the questionnaire and visits, I have grasped the firsthand materials and sought the reasons for this situation.The students'music favoritism doesn't vary obviously according to their specialty. The majority of the students are similar in music trend and they only have a few differences. The music favoritism of liberal art students has the sense of purpose because their perceptual pursue is more intense and their imagination is richer, while the science students'choices are more random because their rationality and the logic have affected their choices.The university students mostly are in the same age group and they have many common character aspects. They pay great attention to individual feeling and like pursuing the latest fashion. Gender differences also affect people's music favoritism. The feminine perception causes girl students to be flexible, while masculine character causes boy students to be steady in music category choice. That is because the female students like displaying own individuality, while the male students like to make friends.The university students used music as a way to construct their feeling track. In this way they can satisfy their own emotion needs and cause themselves to become socialized existence as well. Listening respectfully to music is an important way for the university students to express their feelings. It is also the important method for them to set foot in our society and culture. University students'music expense, the cultural performance and the social background influences are very important factors in non-music specialized university students' education. In the thesis, I elaborated in detail how important a part psychological factors play in music appreciation teaching which is meant to enhance the students'cultural art tutelage, influence their sentiment, inspire their wisdom and promote their body and mind harmonious development .
