Li Kui is one of the beloved images in the Outlaws of the Marsh.However, Li Kui isn't created out by its own auther.In yuan dynasty, this image of Li Kui has already been shaped.And it has more personality characteristic than that in the novel Outlaws of the Marsh.This paper try to study the human spirit differfnces between Yuan Dynasty and Ming Dynasty from Li Kui which in opera of the yuan dynasty and the Outlaws of the Marsh of Ming Dynasty.This paper is divided into two parts.First part,the major research Li Kui image in opera of the yuan dynasty.And take Kang Jingzhi's likui proffers a birch and Gao Wenxiu's offer up two head for example.Sum up in the yuan dynasty,the auther gave Li Kui personality characteristic like this.For example,innocent,rude and brave,clever and careful.So Li Kui is a knight-errant.Second part,the major research Li Kui's characteristic in the Outlaws of the Marsh in Ming dynasty published in wanli 38 year.Compared with these two types,we find the novel keep the innocent and tude from the opera of yuan danasty.However,the innocent of the novel become stupid and the rude of the novel become sanguinariness.Li Kui in the novel lose the cleverness and urbanity.Finally, we found that this subtlety reflected the changes in the Yuan and Ming dynasties of different historical backgrounds, and ideological background and the literati of the era in which the sensitive feelings of their own.
