The long history of the nation of China has fostered splendid Chinese culture. As one of the most important origins of Chinese civilization, Central China area is rich in cultural heritage resources. Central China especially rich in distinctive folk costumes that show the true reflection of the people's daily lives in Central China and express the industrious working people's concentration of wisdom. Folk costumes are manifestations of Chinese fine traditional culture and combine practical and aesthetics functions. They reflect the deep distinctive aesthetic cultural roots of China. The succession of traditional clothing culture is not a simple repetition, but to combine elements of folk costumes in modern clothing design. This study analyzsis of the formal attire aesthetics reveals the design to create the feeling of beauty, the pursuit of harmony, showing charity as beauty, and focusing on the expression of charm. The roots of the cultural mentality behavior explore based on costums, folklore, and other behavior patterns which embodie the Central China area folk costumes. The research mainly about the style by factors from fabric, color matching, selection of material, expression of auspicious implications, and decorations,Also discussed the usage of folk costume elements of this area; appling the contemporary deconstruction of design methods; This study conducted a women's product fashion design and development with deconstruction contemporary trends in fashion design.
