Since the ancient Greece, many people have focused on the subjective thought, and how to investigate the subjective thought has also become the basic problem which most people have argued. The subjective thought should not only contain how to present the subjectivity, but also the limit of subjectivity. That is shown distinctly in the thought of Kant and Marx. Therefore, on the frame of subjectivity and the limit of subjectivity, it's possible to study the relationship between Kant's subjective thought and Marx's in terms of epistemology, ontology, thought of value and thought of history. On the dimension of epistemology, subjective thought mainly refers to the self-conscious nature, the constructive nature and the limit of cognition. Marx inherited the Kant's thought on meaning of self-awareness for cognition and the limit of cognition, and took forth transcendently the constructive nature in the cognitive process and the given production as the basis of the limit of cognition, with the conception of practice. On the dimension of ontology, subjective thought chiefly means the unity between sensibility and rationality, the unity between object and tool, the accountability, the independence, the transcendence, the development and empirical existence as the limit of subjectivity. Marx inherited the Kant's idea that man as the unity between sensibility and rationality, with the unity between object and tool, the nature of accountability, independence, and transcendence, and that subjective material needs becomes the limit of subjectivity. Marx transcendently proposed that production and practice as the core of subjectivity would have the significance, and the subjective empirical existence only becomes the basis of others. In terms of thought of value, subjective thought refers to the division of value and the limit of acquiring the value. Marx inherited the Kant's theory about the division of value and material needs as the origin of the limit of getting the dignity, and transcendently held that the material needs only becomes the basis of others. In terms of thought of history, subjective thought refers to the role of subjectivity, the impact of subjectivity to history, and the limit of subjectivity in history. Marx inherited the Kant's theory about subject creating the history, the development of subject by confliction and the subject's development complying with the history. Marx transcendently held that the class struggle changes into the motivation of history, and with the objective laws in history, the subjectivity would be limited to develop completely. So we can draw the conclusion that Marx's subjective thought is the expansion to Kant's. It's significant in theory and in reality to investigate the relationship between Kant's subjective thought and Marx's. In theory, it's not only meaningful to study the impact of classical German philosophy to Marx's thought, but also to investigate the subjective power. In reality, it can be helpful not only to deal with how to tackle the relation between rationality and moral dignity, but also to establish the subjectivity and stimulate the creativity and the passion in the market-oriented economy.
