Chinese landscape architecture career is growing in a high speed,from the initial germinating tending to maturty, at the same time, there is no lack of architecture requirements in the market of today.Though it is a beautiful scene for the landscape architecture in the market trend, supply and demand situation and industrial growth, problems hidden in prosperity.There is a brilliant exposition given by Mr. LiuGuanZhong that landscape architecture industry had more than just a question. Western theoretical thoughts such as the green architecture, the experience architecture, the sustainable architecture, the integral architecture, the humanity architecture, the emotional architecture sping up one after another in the academic circle, and they are popular in architectureers and educators. Everyone tries to clear the name for " the landscape architecture",even redefine the professional landscape architecture "the scientific paradigm" with various scales. Landscape architecture becomes blurred, eroded and crushed by the fashion knowledge from the outside; Compared with the academic development,domestic enterprises are more "pragmatic",they regard the landscape architecture as a method for market competition, a tool stimulate consumption, a service for stimulate consumption. The aim of the landscape architecture activity is alienated, and the method is understood for shortcuts. In the era of"paste"and"copy", architecture inside the enterprises is filled with collage, transplantation, and imitation. At the same time, decision-making the sponsors, execution and supervisors are almost not accepted the systemic training of landscape architecture. All these bring many questions, such as questions on architecture standards, architecture goal and borders, architecture project and decision-making , reasonable distribution of fund use and so on. Support from basic education for the landscape architecture which is in the spire in higher education is limited. Professional knoeledge of landscape architecture is not given in the obligation education stage in our contry, Whose knowledge structure, telents engaged in the landscape architecture, wears relative sporadic and feeble accumulation of one major. Situation of the design education in China performs like "great leap forward" in the present. It seems that changes occurs one night, the number of domestic colleges and universities of art design major jumps from 20 in the 1980s to 400,and the nimber of students graduated from this major changes from hundreds to millions every year.Questions are as followed, staff shortages, uncomplete structure of curriculum, and currculums focus on foundation, skills, knowledge in almost schools.Graduates educated by these ways are lack of practical experience and systematic and reasonable methodology guide, when faced the practical questions, they can neither get rid of the shackles on"knowledge",nor span the fence in"skills".As a social phenomenon and behavior, landscape design is popular,but weak as a theory in which there are many fatal defect. This interdiscipline comeing from different colleges like urban desgin, architect design, landscape design, art design, administration design and so on.These subjects are focus on different point, so they just talk to themselves, say turkey to one and bazzard to another, can not decide which is right. Common understanding theories are difficult to be formed . The study conceptof"paradigm"is lost. The cooperation is absence of the study on the modern landscape design theory in our country.A relative clear aim is producted, which is trying to find a paradigm for the modern landscape design,when varieties of embarassed situation is still to be solved As a newborn calf he who is a lobbist,I hope the study and practice on the modern landscape design can be carried on all kinds of ways to form a contention of a community of science with variety styles,hundred schools of thought, harmonious yet different theory,under the same wish, by differernt academic community and study groups.In the direct of clear scientific strategy,it is prospering and multiplying for the modern landscape design tomorrow rather than disputed in the ocean consisted of random and ordering theories.On the base of reading the Kuhn's Paradigm Theory, a structural system of academic paradigm is formed in the approach of ecological paradigm study. Then a trying study is produced on the modern landscape design paradigm, aimed at the situation of the modern landscape design,based on the further parsing on the type, system, fashion. Systememic analysis is put into effect on the typical templates which are helpful to the research project at all times and in all over the world, the research method of historical evolution and inductive logic is used. Then, the concept of paradigm is introduced, and the theoretical constructure is discussed including connotation, structure, characteristic and so on. At last, compare among Yuanye, Western Gardening Vicissitudes, Chinese garden architecture, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design Elements, Mass Behavior and Park Design and so on is carried out in the history and logic analysis method.
