Study On Suspense Scenes Of Tv Plays And The Calling Structure

The TV drama is a story what TV directors tell in film language. The important attractive element of the audience is the literary structure for calling attention hidden in the text.The calling structure is proposed by Iser who is principal founder of the reception aesthetic school.In 1970,he clearly put forward the concept in the academic articles of "This calling structure of the text ",which applied to analysis of literature. There is the calling structure in any text,more prominent in TV plays than others.Today, many dramas creators unconsciously use calling element to plot design,making TV plays increasingly popular.More good dramas getting a higher audience rating have been produced in recent years,for ample,TV plays with war, TV plays with legendary and TV plays with war between the spies and so on. TV directors obviously captured the audience's viewing psychology in film language as the carrier, using a variety of narrative techniques, particularly the narrative technique which is the most significant in suspense scenes.The suspense scenes are the best proof which creators unconsciousiy use the theory of the calling structure.Scene is the basic unit of narrative drama.which is aslo the basic unit of director and screenplay creating.All of the narrative technique and skills are used to switching scenes .The suspense scenes are the focus of many scenes in the scenes.The calling structure is set in the suspense scenes ,including blank, vacancy and negation.Why suspense scenes is able to playing in calling audience is that these calling elements resulted in suspense and question,making the audience's continuous appreciation .Suspense scene is the scene which TV creators carefully set,which plays the role in guiding the plot and with strong calling in the whole story .The beauty of the drama is derived from the bewildering plot,such as the world-renowned masters Hitchcock's many film works , and thus he is named "master of suspense."So how is the suspense scene set?What was it built by? These are all related to means of TV creation,are also the focus of this thesis.This paper is proposed perspective of producing television,by the guidance of narratology, reception aesthetics, psychology, film linguistics and other related theories, to analyze highlights in wonderful dramas in recent years, interpretating the calling structure for calling attention formed by the way of the suspence tactics, with a view to play a role in promoting China's TV creation. The contents of this paper is divided into three areas:Firstly, combing ideas of the paper from the view combining film language with TV plays creating: the narration of TV plays is based on the scene,creators creat dramas naturally using scene as a unit. Therefore, the narrative technique will be hidden in the scene design. The calling structure of TV plays is in the presence of the scene. The suspense scene is the most able to attract the audience's attention, but also one of the most important scenes combined into the calling structure.The means of creating suspense scenes will become the thesis of research.Secondly, suspense scenes can be devided into two types:a single scene of suspense and related suspense scenes. Summaryng the common way of building suspense scene by analyzing typical scenes in TV plays of high rates.Thirdly, to create real suspense effect, the suspense tactics must be used combing the film language and the detail. Meanwhile, the suspense tactics is also practised into a wider use in other TV programs, praised by the audience.
