After experiencing the ancient Chinese Wei and Jin Dynasties portrait of embryonic period, the peak of the Tang and Song period, during the Yuan Dynasty landscape painting and the flower gradually been replaced, especially in the late Ming and early Qing period of this social complex, the characters the development of painting is almost stagnant, it has lost its former flourishing scene. Although there have been some characters painters, such as Tang Yin, Qiu Ying and so on, but their portrait not only failed to break through and it can not be compared with the previous generation.
