At present, as English becomes more and more important, people become more enthusiastic in English learning. Vocabulary learning, as the basis of English learning, brings more and more attentions, as well. However, learners not only encounter inner problems affecting learning efficiency, such as poor learning power and less successful leaning stories, but also are limited by poor learning strategy and"dumb English"problem. For external problems faced by learners, author cannot find any software which can solve these problems through detailed market investigation. As a result, if we can develop a suite of software which can raise a learning strategy based on learners'personal ability and memory characteristic, solve the"dumb English"problems, and enhance learning efficiency, we can make a success.For solving these problems above, this paper raises personal vocabulary learning system based on multi-platform, through absorbing the advantages and disadvantages of current vocabulary learning software. First, this paper investigates current learning problems and the characteristics of current software, raises the instruction aim and instruction design, clarify the core functions of our system. The core functions include personal vocabulary learning function, reading recognition function and learning record synchronization function. Moreover, we confirm the architecture design, the function module design, the process design and the necessary data structure through relative literature such as learning theory, memory theory and other application technologies. Last, we describe the development of system core functions, conduct small-scale test and gain good appraisal.This paper conducts the combination of personal dynamic hard level and Ebbinghaus Memory Theory into the vocabulary learning system for the first time. Besides, the reading recognition function and learning record synchronization function are innovative and good application in the domain of vocabulary learning. This system will solve current problems of English vocabulary learning, enhance the learning efficiency and make the learning process more convenience.
