Death narrative is an important field in texts of pre-modern Chinese literature, but the area of research on death narrative and aesthetic investigation of its is still an theory fade zone ,there are no one or only a few persons plodded on through the area. This article attempt to make an theory explore in dead narrative and aesthetic investigation with the narrative literature of pre-modern Chinese literature, to achive this purpose ,the writer of this Master's thesis have assembled the theory characters emphasized by the Modern illumination and reception esthetics. To enable the wish that the "effective intervention" will comes true, the writer of this article always persevere the consummate combine between"courageous revivification"and"cautious proving". In the specific research ,this article has made some classical narrative text, like "Snow in Midsummer", "Three Kingdoms", "Water Margin", "Golden Lotus", "Lin Lanxiang", "Peach Blossom Fan," "Red Chamber Dreams ",and so on ,as the specific case for study. Specifically,the study in this Master's thesis foucs on aesthetic features in description of dead scene in the whole dead narrative, the cultural property of the most primary figure in the dead narrative, the notion of"dead"created by the most primary figure in the dead narrative, what's the cultural and philosophy function the"dead"have undertaked ,the aesthetic relationship between the"dead"and tragedy ,and so on .After sort out and analyze the basic elements of dead narrative, this Master's thesis has made an preliminary summary on cultural and aesthetic characteristics of dead narrative in pre-modern Chinese literature. Now, I will summarize the main points of every chapter in this Master's thesis as follows:In the first chapter,namely "The study of death narrative in'Snow in Midsummer'" ,after restore the cultural property spiritual path of Dou'e before the death of her finally arrived, I explained the meaning of the typical tragedy that performed by Dou'e again . I think that, when Dou'e in the text be aware of that the cruel life of the plight of the has been deprived her own hope of survival in the moral and practical dimensions , the sense of adhere to the moral has been lost , the death entirely became to the onle way to revolt desperation ,and to break free from the survival dilemma . In the second chapter, namely"The death narrative under the control of folkloric aesthetic sentiment——for instance'The Romance of Three Kingdoms'and'Outlaws of the Marsh Village'". After analyze the model aesthetic characteristics of dead narrative in the two texts, I confident that folkloric aesthetic sentiment ,for example ,"the peculiar samed as beauty","the cruel samed as happy",has deeply influenced the light literature of pre-modern Chinese literature,like as'The Romance of Three Kingdoms'and'Outlaws of the Marsh Village'". And the accept to strong infiltrate from folkloric aesthetic sentiment,is the fundamental reason that caused the aesthetic quality of'The Romance of Three Kingdoms'and'Outlaws of the Marsh Village'"were known from the other text that created independently by professional writer.In the third chapter, namely"A comparison of death narrative between'Golden Lotus'and'Red Chamber Dreams'", through the comparatively analyze on description of the scene , aesthetic characteristic of the death images, and point to the significance of the dead narrative,I indicated that the horrible death in "Golden Lotus" is an knell for the epoch of late Ming with moral bankruptcy and law slack ,and it is also an lightning implied punishment over the people who are indulgencing in the sea of desire. But in the "Red Chamber Dreams", the death in the text was not only a symbols that implied punishment. Most of the story of dead with poetic and sorrowful , have created sculptures implied strong tragedy meaning for us one by one. The most primary figures in the death narrative lead us to moral criticism and reflection of ourselves national history, and lead us to the tragic experience of life itselfIn the fourth chapter, namely"The study of death narrative in'The Peony Pavilion'", I think that, Du's dead is an extremely legendary love story in Chinese classical , and it is also is an extremely rare case in psychoanalysis Perspective study. In the cultural history, the stage image of Du Liniang created by the big thinker and literary genius of Tang Xianzu , the nature of hers abnormal dead in the text is an sacrifice for"Human liberation", and the nature is also a kind of comment for Tang's theory of"Sentiment".By the girl's dream love and hers dead who lived in the trap that drawn up by feudal code of ethics, the writer given the people's lust the brilliant and holy color, and because of this ,readers in different ages can felt the beautiful and solemn derived from the origin of life . In chapter V, namely"The study of death narrative in'Lin lanxiang'" , I believed that, there are strong spirit of tragedy in the text of'Lin lanxiang', who have rescued China's pre-modern novels from the quagmire created by " Pornography" and "Romantic", and the vectors condensed and transmitted the spirit of tragedy of death narrative in the text of"Lin lanxiang". By the construction of death scene and death images,"Lin lanxiang"not only acquired the spirit of tragedy that made the"death"as an way for one's own salvation, but also have acquired the aesthetic character that were better than " Pornography" and "Romantic".In the cultural interpretation of tragic figures, I believed that, when Yan Mengqing in the text clearly aware of the paradox of her own living situation can be ended when her own lives was declared to be ended, Yan Mengqing was awared that she really needs one death. That is, when Yan Mengqing felt the shadow of was approaching to her, she has not made instinctive struggles oon the contrary, she was in a cheerful mood when she waited the dead's arrived, in this moment, Yan Mengqing fully convinced that she will self-liberation.In chapter VI , namely "The study of death narrative in'Red Chamber Dreams'", I believed that, dead narrative condensed creator's life experience, not only constructed the most poetic meaning world in " Red Chamber Dreams ", moreover, it is an internal driving force to move the plot forward. In the process of study, for achieving effective interpretation in study of dead narrative, it must break through the limitations and constraints created by traditional theory . In this chapter, I referenced some theories from narratology and Western philosophy of death, by analysed the operation mechanism and philosophical point ,and the reason foe Jia Baoyu's death, I attempt to do an more systematic study for dead narrative in"Red Chamber Dreams".In the seventh chapter namely "The study of death narrative under the Buddhist Perspective ", I believed that, Ming and Qing novels that Rooted in the secular culture soil, as an literary style with a new kind of aesthetic quality, they were infiltrated and transformed by Buddhism in many aspects. Especially in the specific operation of dead narrative, the influence from the Buddhist culture is obvious. In this chapter, with reference to the Buddhist's concept of death, by analyzed the function in the cultural level that undertaken by the death narrative,I will try to reveal the objective existence of such effects. After example discussed, the conclusion of this chapter is that ,under the perspective of Buddhism ,on the cultural function of the commitment, the death in the Ming and Qing fiction ,not only is a testimony for the fate of this life ,but also is a testimony for the fate of next life, in another way,we can also say that ,the death is an classic case for people to completely understand the theory of"Form itself is emptiness; emptiness itself is form"in the BuddhistIn the eighth chapter, namely "The aesthetic association between death complex and tragic literary—discuss the aesthetic character of'The Peach Blossom Fan'", in my opinion, the real tragic literature, the core of the tragic spirit can not completely stripped any components of death . Death narrative, especially the death complex in the dead narrative, often played a key role for the generation of tragic spirit in the world of tragedy . The "dead complexes" in the writer's mind , or in the center hero's consciousness , usually have three forms when they existed in the text .In the level of emotional experience, it is a kind of sadness infiltrated with real anxiety; in the level of psychoanalysis, it is a kind of emotional emptiness existed in one's value of life; in the level of characterization, it means the perish of heroes personality, and the prevalence of cynicism. By analyzed the aesthetic character of"Peach Blossom Fan", I try to certify the presence of aesthetic association between dead complex and tragic literary.By restituted the center hero's living conditions, cultural property, as well as the suffering in the life before his death, and the significance that death itself created for life itself, this chapter has completely revealed the social and cultural information, and individual's spiritual anxiety that undertaken by the main dead in the dead nattartive.Finally, by inspected the relationship between death narrative and text's"Metaphysical nature", this Master's thesis try to points out that, the transformation in connotation and implications of the dead speech and the death narrative in the text, not only symbolized the Chinese Literature have really possessed the aesthetic force to save the human's spirit, but also symbolized the appearance of"Poet—philosopher"in ChineseClassical Literature—they created the possibility of the transformation that caused Chinese literature developed from the classical to the modern .
