The famous Russian composer Moussorgsky was born in a serf family in 1839. He studied piano with his mother and accept influenced folk music. In his 13-year-old, Moussorgsky learned in Petersburg Guards. After graduation as Imperial Guards, he knew Balakirev, Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov and cui, and became a Moguchaya kuchka member. In 1858, Moussorgsky specialized in music from the military, contributing for the creation of Russian classical music. The artistic style of Moussorgsky had a strong Russian national characteristics and unique personality. His opera Boris Godunov , orchestra Night on Bald Mountain, the piano divertimento Pictures at an Exhibition and the song Flea Song, have become the music treasure all over the world.In 1874, Moussorgsky was inspired to compose the Pictures at an Exhibition while viewing a memorial exhibition of paintings by his friend Victor Hartann. Pictures at an Exhibition has since become a great favorite of musical artists and their audiences, one of the most admired and performed of piano masterworks. In each of the short pieces , he interpreted the subject of one of Hartmann's pictures—children playing in the gardens of the Tuileries, the bustling marketplace at Limoges, the witch Baba Yaga and more, all leading to the exhilarating finale evoking the great Heroes'Gate at Kiev.In this paper, based on the depth analysis of Moussorgsky's life and its social background, reseach the piano divertimento Pictures at an Exhibition with ontology analysis.
