Peer victimization refers to children's experience of being a target of physical verbal or relational aggressive behavior from peers (Mynard & Joseph, 2000). During childhood and adolescence, 5%-15% of children have experienced serious or long-enduring peer victimization. The research have shown that peer victimization has severe effect on children's mental and physical health (Newman, Holden, & Delville, 2005)。As for forecast factors, the majority of researches focus on peer relationship(Buhs, Ladd, & Herald, 2006; Crick & Bigbee, 1998), and the researches about the factors of family influence on peer victimization was less investigated. What's more, the single aspect, such as parenting style and attachment was mainly concentrated on(Ladd & Ladd, 1998; Finnegan, Hodges, Perry, 1998)。On the bases of studies before, this research investigated fundamental feature of peer victimization by way of peer victimization, and the conman influence of many factors in family system on peer victimization via parenting style and family socioeconomic status reported by mother. 566 fifth graders were recruited from several schools in Ji'nan. Conclusions drawn in this thesis are as follows:1. A considerable ratio of victims of aggression was found in middle childhood. Under Chinese cultural context, at least 7% of children have frequent physical victimization, 10% of children have frequent relational victimization.2. There is no significant difference between the level of relational victimization and the physical victimization. But boys reported more victimization of both relational and physical forms than did girls in Chinese schools.3. Mother's positive parenting style (the warm, the guidance, encourage the independence) could partly mediate the relationship between family socioeconomic status and physical victimization/relational victimization. Mother's negative parenting style (the rejection, the high penalty, the high monitoring, the indulged) could partly mediate the relationship between family socioeconomic status and physical victimization/relational victimization.4. Gender can moderate the relationship between mother's rejection and peer victimization. And gender also moderates the relationship between mother's warm and relational victimization.5. The mediating effect of the rejection and the warm was moderated by gender. Specifically, The rejection could partly mediate the relationship between family socioeconomic status and peer victimization, and the relationship between the rejection and peer victimization was moderated by gender; The warm could partly mediate the relationship between family socioeconomic status and relational victimization, and the relationship between the warm and relational victimization was moderated by gender too.
