Base on the linguistic theories of grammaticalization, three levels in grammar, Error Analysis, we mainly discuss the multidimensional differences between "fou ze" and "yao bu" backgrounding Chinese language teaching.Chapter 1:Outline. In this part, we put forward the problem under the background studies of Chinese language learning and fruits achieved.Chapter 2:the grammaticalization of Chinese "fou ze" and "yao bu". We mainly study the source, forming mechanism and approach to ascertain the differences in the origin.Chapter 3:differences in syntax. The main character of "S1, fou ze(yao bu)S2" structure is that it's a duplex sentences, one considered as surface structure and the other as deep one. This structure is suitable for all the "fou ze" but not every "yao bu".Chapter 4:differences in semantic. The mainly differences lie on separation of meanings. There are two meanings in "fou ze" while the choosing function is not well developed. By contrast, there are four meanings in "yao bu". since it's a duplex sentences, the semantical structure is also complicated, which can considered coordinating relationship as a whole and causation relationship, conditional relationship, selection relationship in the second level.Chapter 5:differences in semantic pragmatic. We mainly distinguish the two from connection relationship, subjectivity, focus of sentence, politeness principle and colloquial aspect. Chapter 6:Error Analysis, in this chapter, we conclude four types of errors according to students'written homework and oral Chinese practicing. They are the absence of separation of meanings, words don't go together, the absence of conjunction, pragmatical mistakes. And we try to bring forward a teaching method base on the differences above. Finally, it summarizes the contents of thesis and the correlative questions in the future study.Based on Chinese language facts, the sample sentences are mostly first-hand materials. Using the method of comparison, we make a multimensional difference between "fou ze" and "yao bu", hoping to help improve the textbooks and reference books, meanwhile to give references in Chinese language teaching.
