It has been a consensus about the close association between Dionysus and Greek Tragedy in the academics. We also used to call Dionysus the god of drama. The problem is that what kind of the association between Dionysus and Greek Tragedy, and why when we talk about one , it just refers to the other? What kind of the feature makes him own the name of the god of drama? Different disciplines may follow different approach of solution to this puzzle. It can be philosophical, literature, ethnological, religious, sociological, and historical, not one enough. This concern is about the Greek tragedy and Dionysus in the basic similar spirit. It is the basic spirit of understanding that provides the relevance of the most powerful explanation. For this reason, we tried to explore the essence of Dionysian spirit, and then tried to explore the application in the representative works of the three great palywright of ancient Greek, hoping to get the results of the exploration tested, and having our own answer to these puzzles. Certainly, searching and testing is not an independent process. Although there comes up with the essence of the Dionysian spirit in the article--- the arrogation of limits---seems to be a sudden shot of a spark of inspiration, in fact, at the same time, it's a result of extensive support in the process of reading the works of Greek Tragedy. It's proportional that the understanding of the essence of the Dionysian spirit provides another possible view on reading the works of Greek Tragedy. The first man who suggested the concept of Dionysian spirit is the great philosopher Nietzsche. Although there are genius original idea at all places in the "The Birth of Tragedy", Nietzsche is limited to the system of philosophy of voluntarism. He corresponded the Dionysian spirit to the willing, however, it didn't like what he said to study toward the tragedy itself, which came out an imperfect conclusion. According to Dionysus is one of the most important gods, we tried to excavate the essence of the Dionysian spirit and come to an universal conclusion with the clues of Dionysus's adoration in the religion of the ancient Greek, meanwhile, this article associated the"fate"in the ancient Greek tragedy with some important concept of the Greek philosophy to demonstrate this conclusion. At last, there have a legible Dionysian spirit in these works by analysing the works of Greek Tragedy specific.
