Reinhold Moritzevitch Gliere (1875--1956), the Soviet first generation of composer, has left behind more than 500 works with various forms of literature for the Soviet Union and the universe in his more than a half century creation profession. Among all these works, the "Concerto for coloratura soprano and symphony orchestra" (op.82), which was completed in the 1940's during the "National Defense War" when the Soviet people were struggling against aggression, was a masterpiece that he stood in the human nature altitude, raised the human banner of just high, expressed its spirit of patriotism and promulgates the Soviet people's(especially the Soviet women's) rich inner world. This thesis focus on the study of Gliere himself and his representative work "Concerto for coloratura soprano and symphony orchestra". The full text is made of preface, closing, and three chapters as main body of this article. And, the first chapter focused on his life story (especially his unique experience across the two times) and his role in the construction of Soviet culture after "October Revolution". The second chapter deals with his creating style was origin from Russian national music and his other music achievements in opera, ballet, symphonies, concertos, chamber music; The third chapter turns back to the " Concerto for coloratura soprano and symphony orchestra " itself and explores its ideological content, expression of theme, music characteristic, depth of ideal condition, impact on future generations and so on.My major is vocal music performance and teaching. Although I have stepped into this field but so far no thesis had been presented by me. This article should be considered as my study report or an answer paper!...
