During the short life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, he wrote totally 22 operas which the opera buffa on dominant, and among these the most popular is "Le Nozze di Figaro", which release its emotions via the notes. In the opera, the key of conflict is the Count, as patrician class, want to restore the "Jus primae noctis" which was rescissory, to occupy the coveted Susanna. The most important feature of "Le Nozze di Figaro" is the art of duet and it shaped characters. It contains the most duet which is always performed separately, illustrate the character directly and intensify the conflict as well as the arias. The nonentities which go through the whole opera "Le Nozze di Figaro" make the conflicts more and more, but also be resolved at the end by themselves. This text will discuss how the duet illustrate the characters and make the conflicts and the important effect of the duet in launching the story. And discuss how the nonentities improve the story and comedy like Marcellina or Bartolo. Expounding the music style of opera buffa and the importance of the vocal music in opera performing as a vocal music singer, in order to make us understanding the spirit of the operas better and illustrating the characters successful.
