HeQi-fang was a famous poet, proser and literary critic in modern and Contemporary Chinese literature history. His collections of poems and essays written between 1931 and 1949 were classified into two-phase works, the first- phase was full of beauty and refinement, on the contrast, the other lacked art style, thus his works became a microphone in politics. Such a great difference is summarized by scholars as "leap forward in Thinking, leap backward in creativity", it is also called "Phenomenon of HeQi-fang". It is very significant for the intellect's fate to analyze his change in two-phase works as well as "Phenomenon of HeQi-fang" at that times. The first chapter is an introduction. The creative consciousness in the first-phase works experiences three stages respectively, namely, exertion, weakening and restraint. Our analyze the two-phase works judging from the angle of creative consciousness changing, which helps make up the shortage of current study. In addition, the author also makes the brief introduction of status in research on HeQi-fang's work, and tells the author's own thought and method of this research. The second chapter is about the first-phase works under the exertion of the creative consciousness. The creative consciousness is made up of the following six parts, namely, the agreement of subjective and objective part, the grasp of truth in art, the creative image of being voluntarily reflected the aesthetic taste of the subjective body, thought style in art and the creative freeness in writing. The chapter mainly discusses how creative consciousness in the first-phase works reflect. The third chapter is about the exploration of the forming and exertion of creative consciousness. This chapter finds that judging from angle of the literature psychology, under the affect of social conditions, the receiving of literature information as well as the quality of the subjective psychology, HeQi-fang's creative consciousness finally comes into being and exerts adequately, leading to become a famous writer in modern literature history. The fourth chapter is other-phase works of the weakening and the restraining creative consciousness. This chapter respectively analyzes the works of the weakening creative consciousness during 1938-1942 and the works of restraining creative consciousness after 1942.The fifth chapter is about weakening factor on creative consciousness during 1938-1942. Intrinsic political intention from Yan'an violated literary composing rules and artistic standard in work had fallen. But political and literature ecology in Yan'an mainly demonstrated the Characteristic of free-dom and liberalism which guaranteed the possibility of self-expression. Collision between political intention and self-consciousness on art produced carrier that struggle was happening inside, in a word, creative consciousness had been weakened. The sixth chapter is about restraining factor on creative consciousness after 1942. After 1942, MaoZe-dong's literary and artistic ideology comprehensively restrained HeQi-fang's creative consciousness, Work completely displayed politicization characteristic. The rectification movement which happened in Literary and art circles in Yan'an, guaranteed implementation of MaoZe-dong's Literary and Artistic Ideology, under external pressure, Writers had to be in obedience to the speech of literature and art symposium in Yan'an. In addition, bacause HeQi-fang Worshiped MaoZe-dong, he consciously accepted the MaoZe-dong's literary and artistic ideology. The seventh chapter re-analyzes "The Phenomenon of HeQi-fang". There are mainly three questions. Firstly, no causality of the literary thought progress and creation backslide, and the imbalance of thought and the art development. Secondly, HeQi-fang's thought has great blindness and narrowness, and the responsibility of literator lost, thereby his thought not really make a progress. Thirdly, an essence in "The Phenomenon of HeQi-fang" is that literature affiliated the politics. The unitary political culture which Yan'an established did damage to the literature development;the creative consciousness was finally restrained by the compellent thought from MaoZe-dong's literary and artistic ideology, leading to be the phenomenon of speechlessness. The eighth chapter is a conclusion. There is the third road in literature creation, or rather no bereavement of literator's Subjectivity, and joining in realistic struggle, but the real political system in Yan'an and the personal character, caused the lack of the best of both worlds. Literature creation should remove the political disturb, and keeping to the literature development rule itself and then it can be prospered. What's more, intellectual should not easily give up his own humanism and independent spirit.
