With the passage of time, precious ink culture is gradually moving toward decline, weathering serious corrosion damage. It need protect. But domestic and foreign rarely has the report to the ancient ink protection research. This article simply introduced the historical culture value, raw material as well as the aged present situation. The damage of ink is the material craft, the preserved environment and so on the various factor together combined action result. It has analyzed the ancient ink aging through the experiment is because the acid aging creates, in the ancient ink the gelatin aging and has caused the ancient ink surface frost, ancient ink whole gradual pulverization. And has contrasted the modern ink and the ancient times ink system ink raw material. This article also studied the ancient ink three kind of repairs material, the gelatin/ chitosan altogether mixed the modified product to enhance altogether mixed the product the antibacterial ability; The gelatin/methylmethacrylate grafting product improved the gelatin solubility; The gelatin/epoxy chloropropane stem grafting product, obviously enhanced the liquid cement anti-curved intensity, has solved the gelatin solution room temperature gelatin problem. In this foundation, We take the gelatin/epoxy chloropropane stem grafting product as the main body and right amount chitosan carries on the repair experiment to the ancient ink.The suitable ancient ink preservation environmental condition was studied. The humidity keep constant. The 60% humidity condition is suitable for the ancient ink preservation.
