In the whole world, composers created a series of brand-new clarinet works when the clarinet performing arts came to the mid-20 century. These works subverted the traditional music completely. Composers and musicians had wildly contact in order to find a better way to perform those works. These talented geniuses created a number of non-traditional playing techniques during the process of studying and exploring of those works. That made the clarinet playing technique developed and enriched much rapidly than any time before. More and more new playing techniques were created as those new works were wildly played. Due to this reason, we can say that modern music created non-traditional playing techniques and non-traditional playing technique also pushed modern music move forward. Moreover, the constant enrichment of non-traditional playing technique gave performers more and more means and choices to play. At the same time, non-traditional playing techniques also gave traditional music many new ways to play. This gave traditional music the spirit of the modern times and burst out greater vitality.New style and new activity came to the fore at an alarming rate. Many new works were composed. That made performers confused and don't know how to play them. This article listed, Classified, analyzed and described a number of non-traditional playing techniques appearing in representative works.
