| Civic culture is a kind of modern culture that has been adapted to the globalization, and the basis of which is market economy and democracy. The reform and open up starting from late 1970s has greatly fostered the China's modernization and deeply changed the social and economic structure, thus social connections reformed and civic awareness boosted, which have prepared initial conditions for the growth of civic culture. Facing new phenomena and new problems, the traditional theory of knowledge and thinking mode are met with great challenges, on this stage of transition, China is in a urgency for innovation in theory and academic pattern. As a new growth point of academia, it is essential to study the basic contents of it thoroughly.This thesis has four parts. In the first part, we point out that the civic culture is the value system on civic life style and behavior pattern in the modern nationstate. This definition is based on marxist humanistic and cultural value.In the second part, we expound the contents of civic culture and explain the relationship of civic culture and national spirit.In the third part, we compare several sets of concept in order to promote cultural exchange and integration. In the fourth part, we interpret the development status and forming conditions and factors of civic culture in China.Learned from the original research, we discuss the connotation of civic culture in basis of the historical materialism through the text interpretation and explanation.Study on civic culture not only develops the citizens theory system, but also provides new idea for Chinese cultural transformation. |
