Analysis Of The Marriage Of Jin Gongshi

In the Spring and Autumn period, Jin state from the weak side to become a overlord, during which the marriage between the Jin Gongshi played an important part in the social development and the formation of dominance. For the national benefit and by the impart of bilateral and multilateral diplomatic relations, Jin Gongshi used flexible marriage diplomatic strategy and formed marriage with other Zhu Houguo, the clan of Rongdi and the domestic–Qing clan in succession. Jin state spent two periods, from Western Zhou Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn period, due to the change of times, combined with the influence of the political, economic and other factors making the shift between old and new of the characteristics of the marriage of Jin Gongshi, which follows basically hired marriage, co-exist of marriage between the same surname and the different surname, functions of ancient clan system and politics which one eliminates and the other that lasts, the marriage between Jin Gongshi and Rongdi which promotes race fusion. With a view from the spot glimpsing a leopard, deepening our understanding of nature and features of Jin marriage and Jin culture.
