Research On The Problems Of Chinese Argricultural Water Cost

This paper studied the problems on agricultural water cost of China. The main contents covers the following aspects:1.Based on the general description of water resources of China and water use in agriculture, the paper points out the problem that agricultural water cost is a main measure to raise water efficiency in agriculture and to spread water saving.2.The author studies on character of agricultural water commodity and the relation of water price and water cost. At the same time, the policy of water cost in China had been analyzed.3.The paper studied on the influences of adjustment of agricultural water cost on the amount of using water, on agricultural economy and on sustainable rural water conservancy development.4.Briefly presents 3 mainly used methods for calculating water price: marginal cost method, planned price and cost price. The paper had laid stress on water costing calculating and particular problems such as: reappraisal of fixed assets, investment apportionment exercise, and depreciation of fixed assets.5.The author probes into reformation of agricultural water cost in China.
