Basel Agreement And The Study On Internationalizing Strategy Of Capital Risk Management In Our Banks

As banking plays a key role in both everyone' s life and in the body of economy as a whole ,it is supervised by government exclusively in every country ,during which the supervisors are always keeping an eye on their capital adequacy.As a general agreement in international banking, Basel Agreement requires that a bank should be supervised from Ratio of Capital Adequacy (RCA), In the thesis the analysis of this agreement is enlightening the situation of RCA of the state-owned banks in our country. In the reason of history and mechanism , the RCA of state-owned banks in our country is far below the standard in Basel Agreement ,which makes them in an inferior position in international competition. And at last two approaches are mentioned to solve this problem: increasing capital and decreasing assets adjusted by risk.
