This paper takes Hayek's view of liberty as the object of study. Beginning with Hayek's negative and law-ruling view of liberty,it analyses Hayek's re-explaining the great history and the theory background of classical liberalism and Hayek's angle of view when he discussed generalized utilitarianism, economy and moral philosophy. This paper also reveals the characteristics of Hayek's anti-rationalism,evolving rationalism and individualism on view of liberty in his political thoughts. Based on the above,it analyses the significance and the limit when Hayek was explaining classical liberalism, trying to have a clear comprehension on a whole of Hayek's liberalism and to provide some reference for today's social political life.
