Shipping industry belongs to service industry. Ship agency is a special branch of shipping industry,so the products it provides are also service products. The competition in ship agency is the competition of service standard. That is,through the integration of all kinds of marketing strategies,maintain the present customers and attract potential customers. With the process of globalization,ship agencies face the competition not only from native country,but also from foreign competitors. At the same time,ship agency as a service industry is different in marketing strategies with common products industry. For these reasons,as one of marketing managers of China Shipping Agency Dalian Co.,Ltd.,I consider it be important to do some researches on marketing strategies,and put forward my own opinion. The thesis starts from ship agents' process of marketing management. First,it analyses the inner and outer environment of China Shipping Agency Dalian Co.Ltd;Then predicts Dalian port's cargo throughput and export ship quantity;Finally,based on four marketing strategies (product strategy,price strategy,place strategy,promotion strategy),put forward the special strategies about our company.
