On Mao Zedong's Theoretical Contribution In Exploring Route Of Socialist Construction

Owing to its history, China has Chosen the route of socialism. But what should be done after it takes the route? It is based on China's own practical situation and grasped the essence of the scientific socialism theory. The whole theory as a system has substantial content including systematic thinking, study and exportation of socialist construction route from the aspects of the main contradiction of socialist society, economic construction, democratic politics, construction of the party in power, ideology and culture and diplomatic policy. Although Mao made mistakes in understanding what is socialism and in how to construct socialism, there is much in his theory that we can make use of. The achievement of his exportation has been one of the most important theoretical source of Deng Xiaoping Theories.
