A Comparative Analysis Of Venture-Capital Organization

At the crossing of the centuries, the whole world enters the time of New Economy. Venture Capital as the "hatcher" of New Economy is deeply emphasized. Venture Capital is different from normal investment. It is the combination of Capital, Skills, Management and Venture spirit. It has its own characteristics in operation.The form of Venture Capital organization affects directly the failure or success of Venture Capital. There are three forms in the world: Limited Partnership, Corporate Venture Funds and Venture Capital Trust. The three have different efficiency, but they all have gained success in different countries. By the comparative analysis, the thesis finds the factors that influence the choice of forms. It is helpful to illustrate China's Venture Capital. Considering the fact that China still has some obstacles in developing its Venture Capital, the thesis proposes that Corporate Venture Funds should be the correct choice, and also provides five patterns. A suggestion is that we should build a whole Venture Capital system to prepare for the Limited Partnership.
