The Great Revolution referred to the anti-imperialism and anti-feudal revolutionary movement that had broken out in China from 1924 to 1927. It was composed of establishment of Kuomintang-Communist cooperation, reorganization of the Kuomintang, unity of Guangdong revolutionary base areas, vigorous development of movement of workers, farmers, youths and women, triumphal marching of the Northern Expedition, contending for the leadership in united front and some other important historical events. This thesis is going to have a general study on the leading role of CPC in the Great Revolution in China.Studying the leading role of CPC in the Great Revolution in China, first of all, we should make clear about what the Party's leadership is. The Party's leadership consists of ideological leadership, political leadership and organizational leadership, among them, political leadership is the most important, ideological and organizational leadership served it. Secondly, analyze in depth about the leading role of CPC in the Great Revolution in China by combining the content of the Party's leadership with the history of the Great Revolution in China. At last, analyze the relationship between the defeat of the Great Revolution in China and the Party's surrender of the leadership in the Great Revolution in China.By careful analysis ,we can draw the conclusion: the establishmentof Kuomintang-Communist cooperation is the positive result of the idea of democratic unity front which established by CPC, the unity of Guangdong revolutionary base areas and triumph of the Northern Expedition were achieved by the CPC's active influence, promotion and organization, and development of the movement of workers, farmers, youths and women was also lead by the CPC. The main reason of the defeat of the Great Revolution in China is caused by the Party's surrender of the leadership of the Great Revolution in ChinaConclusion: The upsurge and development of the Great Revolution in China is the result of CPC's positive leading, and its failure can't obliterate the leading role of CPC in the Great Revolution in China. The Great Revolution in China leaves us valuable experience and lessons.
