The right to silence of the suspects is basic human rights of social criminal litigation. Our country should keep up with the world trend of human rights protection and suspects' indignity respect ion. It is obvious that our country will surely introduce the right to silence in our criminal litigation. However, attributed as an important part of criminal investigation, the police interrogation has a close relation with the rights of the criminal suspects as well. How to handle the new situation brought by the right to silence? With reference to the right to silence, the essay has discussed the limitation on police interrogation in worldwide countries and that of restriction. Combing the current status of our police interrogation with the induced impact of the future, meanwhile considering the difference of the current operation model with thoughts, it outlines that the great effects will be brought in police interrogation while some relative strategy are provided.
