| There are two destinations for ship technical management, equipment maintenance and cost control, which reveals the core competitive capability ofmodern shipping company. It is the great challenge for the shipping company to adopt the proper policy of technical management to adapt them in the ever-competitive environment.Nowadays, to maximize the entire efficiency the technical management, many shipping companies have introduced the policy of technical cost management and the reform of organizational pattern. With the development of computer and diagnose technology, people have made great progress in the technical management in reliability, safety and economy sides.In this dissertation, based on the maintenance mode of ZY shipping Company, the author has studied the new requirements of technical management to the container fleet, analyzed the current situation and problems from the technical management in ZY shipping company. Through these analysis, the author tries to give a intensive solution on the following aspects:1. improve cost control, detail the cost estimation; evaluate the performance of major equipment;2. adopt the computer system and ,3. give a strategic outlook of the organizational reform.The author appeals that to be one of successful shipping company in the industry, ZY company should introduce the latest theory and refresh its ship technical management system as soon as possible.
