International trade has been thought to act as the motor of the development of economy, and play the important role in a national economy. It is worthy to point out that the development of the international trade has a faster speed than the one of national economy, and contribute a lot to the inner-economy. Regards as the major part of international trade, intra-industry trade is going to be the tendency of the foreign trade with the growing of economy. Through the analyze of various beneficial results together with the growth in intra-industry trade and the change in industrial structure, this thesis uses the theories concerned with intra-industry trade, including Economies of Scale, Imperfect Competition, Product Differentiation, Product-cycle Hypothesis, etc..; point out the tendency of international trade; and show the possibility and essentiality of the development of intra-industry, in our country.And, the author will dissect the intra-industry in magnitude status with the G-L index, and balance the changes in the national industrial structure with the professional index in industry structure; with the comparison of the two indexes above, discover the closed inter-promoting relationships of them, and explain the basis and the meanings by developing intra-industry to promote the industrial structure. And point out six political measurements to promote the intra-industry trade by the end of the thesis.
