In recent years, there was a unbalanced trend in economics in Shanxi province , it has developed very quickly in southern area, such as Linfen, Yunchen area. So large quantities of power energy has to be transferred from the North to the South. Then it leads to lots of reactive shortage. In the northern area , there have adequate capacity for consumer. The voltage is too high in North, too low in South. To solve the problem, a new method for spot price definition is presented in this paper.Based on Schwepp F C's spot price active model, the reactive is added to it. Its result includes active spot price and reactive spot price. The model has 3 parts: margin cost of generation transmission cost and transmission constraints cost. The detail is 1. 6. 2 in chapter 1.The thesis has mainly finished the tasks as list below.(1) First, Power system math's model are solved, Then based on the respective loads. Suitable initial point are selected.(2) Suitable optimal economical dispatch model are selected. Computered it depend on initial point. Then each component of spot price are shown.(3) Add this numbers to the spot price model, The spot price are shown. The detail is in chapter 4. The numerical results of a 6-bus test system are given to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method, which agree with Schwepp F C's spot price.
