Development Strategic Orientation Of China's Polyester Industry Under WTO

World polyester industry has developed from the quickly increasing period to the stable rising period of all-round competition after more than 50 years' grown-up. To compare with that, China's polyester industry developed lately, from the middle of the 1970s. During more than 20 years, China's polyester industry has gained the fast development and absolutely changed over the serious-shortage situation. Now China's polyester production is the biggest in the world. However, China's polyester industry, which grew up during the planned economy, doesn't possess the international competence; and for the promotion of the high profit, China's polyester industry developes unusually fastly in the latest years, which brings about the highly decreasing of the price and the unbalance of the supply and demand. China's entry into WTO means a more extensive and in-depth global competition for China's polyester industry which has long been highly protected by the government. Faced with the severe domestic and international situations, the destiny of China's polyester industry has been a matter of great concern. Therefore, combined with thethree main economic theories-scale economic, international production transfer,strategic alliance, a deep analysis on the development strategic orientation of China's polyester industry has been given in this thesis.
