Research On Chinese Anti-dumping Policy After Joining WTO

Since the long time, Chinese markets have been filled with large number of dumping products supplied by foreign producers. After joining WTO, foreign products will enter Chinese markets more conveniently and quickly accompanying with various reducing and canceling of tariff and non-tariff barriers. They will have more opportunities to dump. Our government and enterprises should strive to search the measure to protect our national industries and reduce the damage. This paper bases on the objective analysis of the anti-dumping conditions of china, insert some actual case analysis, emphasize to pose suggestions to improve the Chinese anti-dumping laws. First, how to perfect our anti-dumping laws. In this part, draw out eleven suggestions according to our specific situation, include putting non-market economy standard into the laws; be at the problem of our national industries, add the stipulation to permit the production of a certain region as an independence industry. Second, our government should pay attention to some questions in the anti-dumping actions, include using breaking agreement to settle those cases which are difficult problems or sensitive in politics; establish anti-dumping early-warning system. Third, to our factories, how to face the foreign dumping tide. Through these perfecting measures I believe our country can accept the challenge taking by joining WTO.
