Urbanization is the only way for a certain country or an area to turns from tradition to modern, from backward to civilization. The ultimate object of accelerating urbanization is to push forward the economic and social development and improve people's living standard and quality. From the aspect of the development of world economy, urbanization is a piece of important experience to accelerate economic progress.In the accelerated development of urbanization, it is demand for real estate, and vice versa. The experience from all of the world shows that the needs of a country or a city keep high level when it reach the phrase of accelerated development of urbanization, and its per residence area is below 30-35 square meters. Now Zhejiang Province is in this phrase. Located in Yangtze river delta region, Zhejiang Province is the leader in urbanization development in China. As the experience of modernization development in China shows medium-sized city is the main way for the accelerated development of urbanization, and Zhejiang Province is a region that is mainly composed of medium-sized city.On the base of research of many other scholars, using quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, this thesis demonstrate the plus correlativity between urbanization and real estate. By the means of Analytic Hierarchy Process, this thesis establishes urbanization development level assessment index system, including ten indices, such as GDP and per GDP.Afterwards, this thesis specially selects medium-sized city in Zhejiang province as the researching object, and grades 11 regions by urbanization development assessment index system. On the basis of the result, it selects some regions whose urbanization level are relatively higher for real estate research.
