The Analysis Of Economic Relationship Between Nanjing And Its Peripheral Cities

Nanjing is the Capital of Jiangsu province. Its peripheral cities have established very close and Extensive relationships with it. These cities include Zhenjiang and Yangzhou in Jiangsu Province and Ma'an'shan in Anhui Province. The development process of Nanjing and its peripheral cities is a process in which they gradually strengthened their economic cooperation. Nanjing has established very intensive relationships in capitals, technologies, labors and markets with its peripheral cities. This paper has investigated the economic cooperation between Nanjing and its peripheral cities through cooperation index, and analyzed the outputs of the index. At the same tune, this paper analyzed the industrial structure and space structure of the whole regional economic. After this study, some policy recommendations are put forward with respect to strengthening the economic cooperation between Nanjing and its peripheral cities. It draws following conclusions. (1) Nanjing and its peripheral cities should integrate together in economic development. The detailed recommendations have been put forwarded in this paper. (2) In terms of the analysis of economic relationships, each city should have its own orientation, this paper put forward thinking on how to develop and how to carry out these orientations.
