Discussion Of Adjustment Of Industrial Structure In Resources-based Cities

Resources-based city is a major city that provides resources in our country. It performs an unsubstitutable function to develop our material industry and infrastructural industry and to support circulation of the whole national economy. Most of resources-based cities appear suddenly, it is outcome of industrialization and Urbanization and an important branch of system of city, too.Resources-based city has double attributes. That is to say, it does not only follow developmental rules of common cities, but also follows rules of the exhaustible resources. This paper researches evolvement of dynamical mechanism and common characteristics in resources-based cities' development and summarizes development mode of resources-based cities in different development phases.Resources-based industry is a dominant industry and support of city economy in the resources-based city. This paper discusses shaped mechanism and common characteristics of industrial structure in resources-based cities, and put forwards methods of research of industrial structure to use for reference of research of industrial structure.TongLing which is major production's base of cuprum resource in the country, is an object of research in this paper, and used for analysis of demonstration, at same time, sums up good performances and lessons of adjustment of industrial structure in domestic and foreign's resources-based city. This paper puts forwards some suggestion of TongLing's adjustment of industrial structure, which is practically valuable and uses for reference, to adjust and optimize industrial structure and to realize transformation of economic mode and sustainable development.
