Therefore, the adjustment of industrial structure of our country's nautical industry, according to the development of the world's shipbuilding industry, is quite necessary.Nautical industry is an industry for nautical transportation and also an critical part of national defence. It has become one of a few extroverted indusries that have great international competitive power. However, in general, the development of the nautical industry is extensive and the industrial structure is in a low level. Since the key elements that restrict the development of the nautical industry have changed from the former shortage of the shipping and reparative equipment to the decline of the competitive power in the market, the nautical industry of our country must change its industrial structure while developing, and ,at the same time, keep a faster developing speed.The thesis, from the specific angle of reconstruction, studied the important problems in China's nautical industry and economic development and applied industrial structure and industrial organization's basic theories from the industrial economic theory; from the angle of the nautical industry's industrial attribute and association, analyzed the influence from domestic and overseas macroscopical surroundings on the change of the nautical industry's structure, the role and the function of the nautical industry in our national economy, and nautical industry'seconomic development , the actuality of its industrial structure as well as its existing main problems; from angle of the industrial structure's updating theory, expatiated on the necessity and significance of establishing large-scale nautical corporations, improving the industrial convergent level and pursuing the sweeping economy, at the same time, put forward an idea to adjust the structure of the nautical industry.
